We are excited to welcome Summer McCall to the FLi Artists’ booking team. Summer will lend her vast knowledge and understanding of the Folk, Celtic, and Americana music scenes to enhance FLi’s ability to better serve current and future artists of those genres on our roster.
Summer McCall is a Northern Californian raised in the traditional Scottish music & dance scene of the Sierra Nevada foothills. Her extroverted and effervescent nature has led her down a global network of Celtic/Folk artists and producers. As a Celtic cellist, fiddler, and dancer, she found her way to Boston MA for the traditional music scene in September 2019 to further her passions and musical upbringing. Her current endeavors consist of festival directing the Boston Celtic Music Festival (BCMFest), booking agent work for Fli Artists and her independent artists, co-founder of Ministry of Folk (LLC), a regular session musician, babysitter to folk stars such as Aoife O’Donovan and Hanneke Cassel, and an internationally sought after Scottish ceilidh dance caller. As the former Marketing and Membership Manager at the renown Folk music venue, Club Passim in Cambridge MA, Summer‘s network of artists has spilled into personally knowing many of the top Americana, Bluegrass/Old Time, Sing-Songwriters, and general Folk musicians of the industry today.
